EarthCam Demonstrates Rapidly-Deployed Wireless Robotic Cam at EMS Expo


Displays Latest WebCam Incident Management and Video Communications System

New York, October 27, 2009 -- EarthCam (www.earthcam.net), the leader in webcam technology, will demonstrate its wireless, battery-operated robotic camera system for early response transmission of live video communications to emergency control centers at EMS Expo 2009.

The camera along with displays of other systems specifically designed for emergency medical personnel will be featured at EarthCam Exhibit 1040, October 28 - 30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. The Expo is the largest annual gathering of EMS professionals in North America.

EarthCam’s rapid response emergency webcam technology includes EMT vehicle-mounted webcams as well as wireless, battery-powered robotic OEM/ EMSCams and the powerful, lightweight Mobil Tablet Computer for rapid situation analysis.

The password-protected cameras are powered by the Incident Control Software version, of EarthCam’s exclusive Control Center 7 software.

EMS professionals are able to share secure live views with emergency rooms for live incident and medical assessments as well as regional emergency authorities and hospitals in major incidents.

The system reduces time for preparing reports automatically archiving information during activation including event images with time and date stamps, weather conditions and exact satellite map location. Intuitive drop down menus enable post event reporting by categories, the incident, type and severity.

The software features at-a glance visual recorded documentation to analyze drills. Use of actual local or regional incident recordings further improves training.

The EMS internet cameras are webcams are both controlled remotely and viewed on computers or mobile devices.
