EarthCam Expands Procore Partnership with New Broadway Media Player Embedded App

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, October 3, 2019 -- EarthCam, the leading provider of construction camera technology, announced today that its Broadway Media Player is now available as an Embedded App on the Procore platform. In its partnership with Procore, EarthCam is the first live streaming jobsite camera provider to offer an embeddable webcam media player.

EarthCam’s Broadway Media Player is capable of displaying nine different types of media, allowing users to quickly switch between 4K live streaming video, highly-detailed gigapixel panoramas and archived security recordings. The new EarthCam-infused Procore experience makes it easy for users to add the app to any of their projects, extending the capabilities for sharing jobsite content, all within Procore. Users can also share AI-edited time-lapse videos with music at any time throughout their project to promote progress internally or externally through social media.

“Over the last year, EarthCam has taken full advantage of the Procore API to connect their high quality imagery with Procore workflows. We are thrilled that our users can now access this powerful integration, where all their jobsite visual data is available to analyze and share, without leaving the Procore interface.” - Eric Tucker, Business Development Manager at Procore Technologies.

EarthCam is bringing some of its most popular tools to Procore’s Embedded Experience capability, and single sign-on makes it easy to unlock advanced features. Users will have access to innovative markup tools, where they can call out specific areas of interest directly on photos and 360° reality capture site tours, and share the visual content within Procore as an RFI, observation or change event. Once the user creates an actionable item, a unique ID is generated within the Procore framework, creating a visual record complete with environmental weather data. In addition, the Broadway Media Player provides support for multiple points of weather data captured by EarthCam’s new Jobsite Weather Station, which will be premiered at Procore Groundbreak.

“Procore’s Embedded Experience capability inspired us to explore new possibilities for our Broadway Media Player and how we can further empower the industry with our visual information,” said Brian Cury, CEO and Founder of EarthCam. “Procore has been a fantastic partner and our mutual clients have seen strong benefits from the continued integration between our two companies.”

Combined with EarthCam’s professional line of live streaming video, time-lapse construction cameras and 360° reality capture solutions, the valuable content is easy to analyze and is driving productivity for a more informative jobsite. EarthCam provides end-to-end services, including camera rentals, professional installation and same-day delivery.
